ebay’s fiasco: bought Skype, but ermmm… not quite
It’s astonishing that eBay forked over $3 billion for Skype and forgot to actually buy Skype’s underlying technology.
I still find it hard to explain how they didn’t realise the fact that they didn’t get a perpetual, exclusive license. I guess someone will have their heads chopped pretty soon…
